My latest adventure is here in Ireland and the Ballymaloe Cooking school.
Breakfast is delightful and all the food seen here is grown or raised from this farm or locals.
The gardens here are beautiful. This is just a small part of the 100 acre farm.
The inside of one of the buildings is completely decorated floor to ceiling in shells. Pictured here is one wall and the ceiling with chandelier. Stunning don’t you think!Creations from this morning’s demonstration and served for lunch. It was absolutely delicious. Smoked salmon, cucumber and onion salad, brown bread, freshly made mayonnaise, tomato salad, plus more that I ate before a picture could be taken 😌
This afternoon’s creations. Homemade vanilla ice cream with caramelized pecans, potato soup with pesto roasted lamb with pearl couscous salad and chermoula, roasted potatoes and of course more wonderful bread!
Tomorrow I’m in the kitchen so the pictures may not be as beautiful but I’m giving it my best shot! I’m off to relax and of course do a little knitting🙂.
