German Short Rows

I’ve always been curious about the German Short Row Technique, so I decided to try out the method by making a pair of toe-up socks.  I used Staci Perry’s pattern and found it easy to follow and loved the added bonus of YouTube links.  I used the recommend DK weight yarn, but would like to do another pair using sock weight yarn.  I modified the pattern by adding ribbing to the instep and all of the cuff.  It helps keep my socks nice and snug.  I also used the Magic Loop method so that I could make two socks at one time.  Here is the link to Staci’s pattern on Ravelry.com.  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/toe-up-socks-using-german-short-rows
